324 - Boutoku No Taiyo

324 is a Japanese Grindcore band, similar to Gridlink and Discordance Axis. Boutoku No Taiyo is 324's first full length album. This is one of my favorite Japanese Grindcore albums.
25 seconds into the album it feels like your being hit with a wall of riffs, thick bass, blast beats, and then deep yelling vocals in Japanese. The production of the album is surprisingly good for the Japanese Grindcore I'm used to.

Mass Grave Collection

Mass Grave is a local Grindcore band from Vancouver. They are currently on a US tour with Stormcrow I've been collecting their vinyl releases for a couple months now and I've almost got all of it. They've got a new full length coming out soon too!

Starting from the top left we've got:

Mass Grave / Stormcrow 12" (Green Wax)
Mass Grave / Catheter 10"
Mass Grave / In Disgust 7" (White Wax)
Mass Grave / Global Holocaust - The Global Grave EP 7" (Red Wax)

Mass Grave / Poser Disposer - Victims of a bong raid 7" (Green Wax of course)
Mass Grave - Survival of the Richest 7"
Mass Grave / Warfair? 7"
Mass Grave / Think Don't Pray 7"

Remaining albums I have yet to get:

Mass Grave - People are the Problem 12"
Mass Grave - Pretty Little Flower 7"
Mass Grave / Neckbeard Split CD (This is impossible to find anywhere. If you have a link for it, please let me know!)

Please support the band. Besides, the vinyl sounds way better anyways. You can buy Mass Grave records directly through Mangled Ankle Records. Todd from Mangled ankle keeps the prices basically not much more then wholesale. They're not that expensive. You can also pick up Weak Minds' s/t 7" there as well.

If you live in the US and want to see Mass Grave and Stormcrow, here is a list of their US tour dates. Oh yeah, and they're playing at MDF!
